A few years ago AJ’s best friend moved away. He had a hard time finding another really good friend. There are a lot of kids in our neighborhood, but none of them were Meemo (changed to Mike).
The idea for this book came from that time in AJ’s life.
Larry Richardson
Bio – I was born January 16th, 1967 in Richland Center, Wisconsin. I graduated from Sauk Prairie (WI) High School in 1985. I joined the US Navy right out of high school. I spend 11 ½ years in the Navy before getting out to help raise my family. I have been married for 18 years to my lovely wife Penny.
We are the proud parents of 4 children. Heather is 17 and will be attending Auburn University next year. Brittany and Ashley are 16 and are the illustrators of Metal Mike. AJ was a late blessing. He is 7 years old. We currently live in Millbrook, Alabama. I am a Network Administrator for the Alabama State Department of Education.
